We were in charge of the art direction and design for “Decarbo Mart,” an experiential exhibition inspired by “Decarbo Score,” a concept developed by Earth hacks. This project aims to make environmental value a new criterion for consumers’ product choices through a novel shopping experience that allows them to physically “feel” CO2 emissions as “weight.” We created a lively and cheerful atmosphere based on a logo that incorporates the letters “CO2” within its frame, while maintaining the approachable feel of a convenience store. The exhibition was held at the “TOKYO GX ACTION MUSEUM,” organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government on July 25 and 26, and was a huge success, drawing full houses both days.
